*WICKLOW THROUGH TO TG4 IFC SEMI-FINALS!*

Well done to Wicklow who defeated Offaly 1-13 to 1-05 this afternoon to book their place in the TG4 Leinster IFC semi-finals! They will have home advantage when they face Laois next Sunday! 

Offaly were handed the perfect start when Saorah Doyle finished to the net but points by Shauna Byrne, Lucy Dunne and Sinéad McGettigan drew the game level after seven minutes of play. Aoife Gorman kicked Wicklow in front but a brace of Saorah Doyle points and one from Abbi Stafford put the Faithful back in front. McGettigan added a further four points in the half with Eadaoin O'Kane also converting to give the Garden County a 0-09 to 1-04 half time advantage. 

In the second half, Shauna Byrne hit 1-1 in quick succession which effectively ended the game as a contest. Saorah Doyle did add a further free for Offaly but Derek Byrne's team held on and were 1-13 to 1-05 winners. 

The result pits Wicklow against Laois in next week's semi final while Westmeath host Wexford in the other semi-final! To Offaly, they will regroup and look to the All Ireland series in a few week's time!
