Best Wishes to Dublin, Meath and Westmeath!
Best Wishes to Dublin, Meath and Westmeath!
December 19, 2020
A Chairde,
I would like to congratulate and extend my own and Leinster LGFA’s best wishes to all three of our Leinster teams - Dublin, Westmeath and Meath this Sunday as they participate in our All Ireland finals. All squads have had so much put before them and have been a beacon of light to supporters throughout the championship.
I am very proud of the fact that this year 4 Leinster teams had qualified for their respective All Ireland’s and particularly in this year when football had ground to a halt and the uncertainty surrounding the playing of the championship in 2020.
In wishing the players and management the best of luck, I would also like to congratulate and thank the county boards of Meath, Westmeath, Dublin and Junior Finalists Wicklow who, in the strangest of years with COVID issues so much to the fore, have led and guided their counties so competently throughout the year - particularly during this Championship season.
I hope you all enjoy the occasion as much as possible given the circumstances and have a safe day before, during and after the game.
Yours sincerely
Dominic Leech
Leinster LGFA President
