Leinster LGFA have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic undergraduate student looking for work experience on their placement year.
The Role
The post holder will be responsible for:
o Assisting with coordination of development initiatives, Go Games blitzes and programmes with the provincial games development officer (GDO) in line with the Leinster LGFA Development Plan.
o Assisting with the administration of the Leinster LGFA PPS Schools Competition and other Leinster fixtures with the Leinster Administrator.
o Providing support for Leinster GDO and administrator in relation to logistics of ladies Gaelic football activity in the province.
o Liaising with County/National LGFA officers, Local Sports Partnerships, Leinster Camogie/GAA development and other organisations where required
o Developing and supporting Club and County links in Leinster.
o Attending LGFA courses, meetings and events where requested/available.
o Miscellaneous other items as agreed by Leinster GDO, Leinster Administrator and the Leinster Provincial Council together with the placement student.
Location
The post holder will be based in the Leinster LGFA Offices in Portlaoise.
Hours
20 hours per week September to June.
